Meakoom, hailing from Hackney, London, ignited her musical path post-college by collaborating on lo-fi projects. Venturing solo, she fuses jazzy retro vibes, influenced by jazz artists such as Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone to Neo Soul, to indie bands like Metric and Interpol, all the way through to early R&B.
